Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at
an elementary school serving PreK through 5th grade students. This
contract role will cover the current school year (CSY) and requires
providing comprehensive speech therapy services in a dynamic
educational setting. The position offers the opportunity to work
with diverse learners, including students in PreK and K-5 autism
classrooms, many of whom use Augmentative and Alternative
Communication (AAC) devices. Responsibilities include providing
direct speech and language therapy services, managing a weighted
caseload of approximately 80 students, and delivering compensatory
services to address unmet needs since the building has been without
an SLP since October. Collaboration with educators, parents, and
other professionals is essential to support each students
individual communication goals. Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) is required. Experience working
with elementary-aged children (PreK-Grade 5). Skilled in supporting
students with autism spectrum disorders and AAC device users.
Ability to manage a substantial caseload with effective time
management. Familiarity with compensatory service delivery to
address gaps in therapy. Location: Onsite in Elyria, OH. This role
