Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Battle Creek, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Battle Creek, Michigan, 49017! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 Year Required License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Travel Experience Highly Preferred - Must be Willing to Work with a Variety of Staff Description: Start date desired for January 26. May consider February 9. This position is in a 10-bed overflow unit focusing on constant reassessment of patients' readiness for discharge. The unit will be rapidly admitting and discharging patients. Floating to other medical-surgical units is required. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Staffing ratios are typically 1:5-6 for night shifts, with potential flex to 8 patients, supported by LPNs in such cases. The unit sees a good mix of medical patients. Must be able to work collaboratively with RNs, LPNs, and Techs. Compliance with flu vaccination requirements is mandatory, except for medical exemptions. No block scheduling can be guaranteed at this time. Background checks are mandatory prior to employment. Candidates with any disqualifying offenses must disclose during the application process. Evidence of flu vaccination must be provided. Travelers are prioritized for floating assignments.
