The position ensures all materials are available and functioning properly to support successful surgeries. You will assist the surgeon throughout operations by providing exposure, aiding in hemostasis, closure, and other technical intraoperative tasks to promote optimal patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include proper draping, retracting, suctioning, sponging, suturing, tissue handling, and applying appropriate dressings related to each procedure. Collaboration with the operating room team is essential to deliver safe, efficient patient care.
