Lansing, Michigan Position Overview Step into a busy Level III
Emergency Department supporting a high-volume community hospital.
This role is ideal for experienced APPs who thrive in fast-track
emergency care with strong physician backup and autonomy. Facility
Setting Level III Trauma Center | Emergency Department with Fast
Track (VUE) | Teaching Hospital Environment What You’ll Be Doing
Independently manage patients in a 10-bed fast-track area (VUE)
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of ED presentations
Coordinate care with attending physicians available 24/7 Work
alongside emergency medicine residents (no resident supervision
required) Utilize full in-house services including 24/7 radiology,
lab, OR, and surgical specialties ? Schedule Details Day shift:
11:00 AM – 11:00 PM Coverage needed across multiple dates starting
January 2026 No on-call requirements No weekend-specific
requirements ??? Clinical Environment Highlights Annual ED volume:
40,000 visits Approx. 110 patients/day shared among providers
Single-physician coverage overnight with peak staffing afternoons
EMR: Cerner Adult-focused ED (OB patients sent directly to L&D)
Ideal Candidate Board-Certified NP or PA Active Michigan license
(local providers only) ACLS & ATLS certified Minimum 2 years of
recent Emergency Medicine experience Comfortable working
independently in a fast-paced ED setting ?? Travel & Logistics
