Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel About the Job We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team for 13-week contract assignments. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while gaining experience in a variety of clinical settings. Responsibilities - Work under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans - Assist patients with therapeutic activities aimed at improving independence in activities of daily living - Provide hands-on therapy to support functional mobility, strength, coordination, and safety - Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support optimal patient outcomes - Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and strategies to encourage continued progress - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations - Ensure a safe, organized therapy environment and proper use of equipment Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program - Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of assignment - Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (SNF/LTC experience a plus) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations - Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Towne U.S. LLC Job ID 17756819.
