future for our clients and our organization. As a Manager of SUD
Services, you will be at the helm of our clinical operations,
ensuring their effectiveness, quality, and compliance. Your
leadership will set the tone for a highly professional and
dedicated team of clinicians, driving our mission of providing
exceptional care. Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership &
Oversight Provide leadership and direction for all SUD program
operations, including outpatient, IOP, MAT coordination, and case
management services. Develop and maintain workflows, protocols, and
service delivery models in compliance with state and accreditation
requirements. Oversee caseload distribution, group schedules,
provider assignments, and staffing needs. Lead program development
efforts, including expansion of services, partnerships, and
community collaborations. Clinical Quality & Compliance Ensure
compliance with ODMHAS rules, Medicaid/Commercial payer
requirements, and CARF standards. Monitor documentation quality,
timeliness, and accuracy, including assessments, treatment plans,
progress notes, and discharge plans. Conduct regular chart audits
and implement corrective action plans when needed. Maintain current
knowledge of SUD treatment modalities and regulatory changes,
providing updates to staff. Staff Supervision & Development
Supervise SUD counselors, case managers, peer support specialists,
and other assigned staff. Provide weekly supervision, performance
evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary action when necessary.
Facilitate staff onboarding, training, and continuing education
related to SUD treatment, ethics, documentation, and compliance.
Promote a team culture rooted in accountability, professionalism,
trauma-informed care, and client-centered practice. Client Care &
Service Delivery Ensure high-quality service delivery that aligns
with evidence-based interventions (CBT, MI, MAT coordination,
relapse prevention, etc.). Support staff with high-risk cases,
crisis intervention, and treatment planning. Review client concerns
or escalations and ensure appropriate resolutions. Monitor program
outcomes and key performance indicators (KPIs). Operations, Data, &
Reporting Oversee billing accuracy, authorization requirements, and
payer guidelines for SUD services. Collaborate with RCM/Billing
teams on clean claims, coding requirements, and denial resolution.
Track productivity, utilization, program outcomes, and regulatory
metrics. Prepare monthly/quarterly reports for leadership.
Collaboration & Community Engagement Build and maintain
relationships with referral sources, hospitals, courts, probation,
community providers, and care coordination entities. Participate in
interdisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and program planning
teams. Represent the agency at community events, coalitions, and
stakeholder meetings. Qualifications: Education & Licensure
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in social work,
counseling, psychology, or related field preferred. One of the
following Ohio SUD/behavioral health credentials required (or
equivalent in your state): LICDC, LICDC-CS LCDC III LSW / LISW /
LPC / LPCC with SUD scope RN with addictions specialization
(optional) Supervisory endorsement or supervision designation
preferred. Experiences Minimum 35 years experience in SUD treatment
services. Minimum 12 years in a supervisory or management role
(clinical or operational). Experience in outpatient, IOP, MAT,
BH/SUD integration, and crisis intervention preferred. Strong
familiarity with ODMHAS rules, ASAM criteria, billing requirements,
and CARF standards. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership,
communication, and team-building skills. Knowledge of
Trauma-Informed Care and Motivational Interviewing. Strong
problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making ability.
Proficiency in EHR systems, scheduling, and documentation
workflows. Ability to analyze data and drive performance
improvements. High level of professionalism, ethics, and
confidentiality. Work Environment Hybrid environment with office,
community, and virtual service delivery as needed. Fast-paced
behavioral health setting requiring adaptability and coordination
with multidisciplinary teams. Physical Requirements Ability to sit,
stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to travel for
community meetings, trainings, and site visits. Reasonable
