details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with
strong Emergency Medicine experience to join a busy Level III
Emergency Department in Lansing, Michigan . The provider will work
independently in a dedicated Fast Track/VUE area while
collaborating closely with attending physicians who are available
24/7 for consultation and support. This opportunity is ideal for
experienced Emergency Medicine APPs who are confident, efficient,
and thrive in a high-acuity, team-based environment. Job
Responsibilities Independently manage patients in the Fast Track
(VUE) area within the Emergency Department Evaluate, diagnose, and
treat emergency cases within scope of practice Collaborate with
attending physicians as needed Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation
Follow established admission, referral, and transfer protocols
Maintain accurate timekeeping through DocTime (reverse billing
system) Working Hours Day Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM One APP shift
daily No on-call requirements No weekend requirements specified
Skills Independent clinical decision-making Strong emergency
assessment and triage skills Excellent communication and teamwork
Ability to manage high patient volumes efficiently EMR proficiency
(Cerner preferred) Requirements Board Certified NP or PA (Required)
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience Active
Michigan license at time of submission (IMLC not accepted) Local
candidates only (no exceptions) Clean background for expedited
credentialing DEA (verbal confirmation required at name clear) NPDB
self-query (within last 30 days) Ability to provide required
