Performance Foodservice is seeking a dependable Local CDL A Shuttle Driver to safely and efficiently operate commercial vehicles, delivering food products across local routes. This role supports our mission to provide exceptional service by ensuring timely delivery and excellent condition of goods, contributing to the seamless operation that keeps us at the forefront of the food distribution industry. Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to various local destinations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring all products are securely transported. Maintain accurate travel logs and comply with all DOT and company regulations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, report deficiencies. Enhance customer relationships with professionalism during deliveries. Strong driving skills and familiarity with DOT regulations. Ability to manage time effectively for timely deliveries. Physical ability to load and unload heavy items. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
