MASTER DEGREE AND CLINICAL LICENSE REQUIRED!The Housing and Residential Program Coordinator directs all clinical, educational and support services to individuals residing in an AFC home or are in need of, and/or receiving housing support. This position is responsible for program operations, development, monitoring and support of Housing Specialists, Certified Peer Support Specialists and Residential Case Managers. The Housing and Residential Program Coordinator is responsible for the clinical oversight of court-ordered treatment including NGRI, AOT, ATO and individuals on probation/parole. This position reports to the Housing Program Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but may not be limited to the following:Responsible for managing, developing and evaluating of Residential and Housing program staff.Reports to work on time as scheduled and at the location assignedIdentifies staff training needs and responsible for making recommendations to the Housing Program Manager Monitors overall team efficiency, effectiveness, and implements performance improvement activities when indicated. Recommends to the Housing Program Manager changes that would improve service delivery and implements changes as indicatedResponsible for providing field instruction for students of his/her respective professional discipline as opportunities permitResponsible for ensuring service delivery to mental health individuals who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, residing in scattered-site housing, AFC homes, SILs and other restrictive settingsResponsible for ensuring that Housing Specialists and Residential Case Managers provide basic case management services, linkage and advocacy; including referrals, identifying personal goals, maintaining case records, and offering individualized services the consumer may need to identify and maintain housingDemonstrates knowledge of diverse and relevant therapeutic interventionsUtilizes appropriate and effective clinical supervision to staff Creates a supportive environment conducive to staff growthProvides 24-hour on call team supportResponsible for assuring that support and referrals are provided for needed services during crisesAdheres to Lincoln Behavioral Services code of ethics and complies with the State of Michigan Mental Health CodePerforms additional related duties as assigned by the Housing Program ManagerAdheres to the agency's policies and proceduresAccurately interprets agency policies and procedures to staffEnsures that all clinical contract requirements are fulfilled regarding program servicesEnsures treatment effectiveness for program servicesEnsures that case records are maintained in accordance with Agency and funding source requirementsCoordinates with the DWIHN, State and community hospitals for appropriate discharge planning.Serves as liaison with other agencies/providersCoordinates the day-to-day operations of the assigned teams and is responsible for the scheduling of meetings, services, and staff coverageResponsible for staff performance evaluations, staff improvement plans and team-related concerns Provide leadership, support and direction to staff while maintaining a positive work environment Monitors overall team efficiency, effectiveness and implements performance improvement activities Ensures that staff are compliant with all training requirements Complies with agency service standards including assessment and person centered planningFacilitates and promotes program development through proposal writing and grantsPerforms additional related duties as requested by the Housing Program ManagerEducation AND EXPERIENCEMaster's degree in social work or counseling from an accredited college or university Three years supervisory experience in the mental health fieldBackground preferred in Supportive Housing and Residential AFC services Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, fiscal and program development expertise CREDENTIALING, LICENSUREFully licensed by the State of Michigan Must as an LMSW or LPC SKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to work as part of a comprehensive community mental health team and to represent Lincoln Behavioral Services in the communityPossess good organizational skills, administrative abilities and leadership capacity Familiarity and working knowledge of computer applicationsQualifications - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
